If I had a nickel for every earthquake I've felt after reading A Short Book on the Great Earthquake. Lisbon, 1755, I would have two nickels, which is not a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice in six months. I've had to wait 27 years to feel my first earthquake, and to be honest, I wouldn't mind never experiencing another one in my life.
In August, we woke up with the bed shaking. The best way I found to describe it is as if I was suddenly sleeping in a water bed. Today's earthquake was at 1:24 PM and I only felt my chair moving for a bit.
Fortunately, none of them caused any damage and no one got hurt.
