music questions challenge
It's the first time I'm taking part in one of these, so I'm really excited! From what I gathered, the original questions came from TakenVaullt's post., but I'm writing this after reading Ava's post, where I found out she's a fellow Depeche Mode enjoyer!
1. What are five of your favorite albums?
In no particular order:
- Violator by Depeche Mode
- A Montra by Cassete Pirata
- The Dark Side of The Moon by Pink Floyd
- Depression Cherry by Beach House
- xx by The xx
2. What are five of your favorite songs?
- "The Love We Make" by Prince
- "Enjoy the Silence" by Depeche Mode
- "Comfortably Numb" by Pink Floyd
- "Seasons (Waiting On You") by Future Islands
- "Amazing" by George Michael
- Honourable mention to Chris Isaak's "Wicked Game"
3. Favorite instrument(s)?
I don't know how to play any instruments, but I love the bass.
4. What song or album are you currently listening to?
Just heard Bad Bunny's new album yesterday. Dale, papito!
5. Do you listen to the radio? If so, how often?
Very rarely. I'll turn it up on my television (ironic, since we're talking about the radio) if I'm cleaning around the house and my phone's charging.
6. How often do you listen to music?
Everyday. Other than the songs I normally listen to, I also listen to a new album everyday through 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die. That's how I discovered Labi Siffre!
7. How often do you discover music? And how do you discover music?
Very often, through the new album everyday thingy and through Spotify's discovery playlist.
8. What's a song or album that you enjoy that you wish had more recognition?
I love Don Luxe's "Don't Waste".
9. What's your favorite song of all time?
I would say it's a shared first place between "Comfortably Numb" and "Enjoy the Silence". And "Love Will Tear Us Apart" by Joy Division. There you go, a podium!
10. Has your taste in music evolved over the years?
I don't think so. I've always favoured Rock over other music genres, but I tend to listen to a lot of different genres and I believe I will keep doing it in the future.
